Embraer Rolls Out New E190-E2

Embraer E190-E2

Tactair Fluid Controls congratulates Embraer on the rollout of the E190-E2 jet February 25th at its headquarters in São José dos Campos, Brazil. Tactair supplies the hydraulic system valves and hydraulic accumulators to Embraer for the E2 family of aircraft.

The E2 family is a narrow-body medium-range family of airliners developed by Embraer to replace their E-Jet family. Updates include new engines with larger diameter fans, improved aerodynamics and taller landing gear. In addition to the E190, two additional aircraft will be added to the E2 family over the coming years: the E195-E2 and the E175-E2.

The E190-E2 is scheduled for its first flight in the second half of 2016. First deliveries are expected in 2018.
